Moving abroad for a fresh start wasn’t supposed to come with a surprise villain arc. But one American woman living in Belize says that’s exactly what happened with ‘Curtis.’ After having a child with the man, he apparently then used the baby to help secure a tourist visa to the United States. Once there, he got out of the picture.
Now she’s taken the drama to TikTok, naming names and warning other women about him. Meanwhile, the internet leans in like it’s the messiest episode of international reality TV yet.
Bella (@bellas_apothecary) has chosen to drop all the details surrounding her whirlwind romance drama. Her clip begins straight to the point and has so far gathered 125,000 views. Her text overlay screams: “Public Service Announcement!!!” and she immediately calls out the city and the man’s full government name: Curtis Rodriguez in San Ignacio. She even names his meatpie shop and the street it’s on. She says that if you’re dating this man, “you need to know that he is a man wh*re with community [expletive].”
Bella is clearly retelling her own story in second person point-of-view, mentioning that once Curtis gets ‘you’ pregnant, he will abandon women and children. She then points to an off-camera, six-month-old baby and says he took the baby to the immigration department to get a tourist visa because he wanted to visit her family and introduce the baby to them. However, she says he “then abandoned us and started working in the United States illegally.”
Bella wraps up her story, saying she is a person “who is a fan of her own actions.” Apparently, the baby was sick and suffering from congestion, and when she asked the father for medicine, because he lives 7 minutes away, it took over 24 hours for him to check in on the baby. She ends the clip sarcastically saying, “because he loves his kids!”
Bella’s comments section is full of people questioning Curtis’ actions. “Really Curtis, in the big 2026?” says one viewer. Another says, “Say it ain’t so Curtis.”
Others focus on the meatpies. One viewer shares, “Da he business. Man can bake a meat pie tho!” Bella replies, “lol no lie. Thats how I got hooked smh.”
Similarly, one viewer says, “meat pies are excellent tho.” Bella responds, “Agreed. The name say Curtiss meat pie shop but it’s his sister who is the real engine behind that machine. She keep it going.”
One viewer simply says, “I love you girl, I stayed from that cheerful good morning, keep spreading the word.” Bella says, “Yes ma’am. I’m trying to save some woman’s life.”
In a follow-up TikTok, Bella shares about their life, and how Curtis allegedly abandoned her in Las Vegas, Nevada, while he traveled around the U.S.
“He took advantage of my goodwill and the love I had for him,” she says, adding that this behavior was not uncommon for him. She laments the fact that people who knew him and his behavior protected his reputation, resulting in her being victimized by him.
Bella continues to make TikToks in an effort to raise awareness against Curtis and his alleged actions that ruin women’s lives. In her most recent video on the saga, posted on Monday, she says if anything happens to her, “it was Curtis or his people.”
She concludes with, “I won’t be quiet.”
